A curious face looked out upon the onlookers, auds pricked. I arched my neck, looking for attention but found none. I snorted in response to those who just looked, daring thm to come closer. No one wanted to. I sighed in boredom as people passed, waiting for someone to actually come closer. I peered down at the groom who was sitting in a chair, sleeping, his hat tilted down. I strecthed and nibbled at his hat, and shook my head when he waved his hand at me to stop. I continued until he gave a small smack on my nose which startled me.

I'd been just randomly wandering through the rows of horses when I saw the groom hit the horse's nose. I frowned and walked over. You do realize that you should never hit a horses face? It causes them to become head shy. I informed him, before turning my attention to the horse itself. I reached my hand into the stall, ready to pull back if he tried to bite me, but other than that, perfectly relaxed.

I pricked my ears as I heard a new voice. I looked at the hand then reached out and bumped it curiously. I lost curiousity as I found there was nothing for me in it, so I went to the dorr, to see if any other parts of the girl had treats. I lipped at her shirt, and was disappointed when I found nothing.

I smiled and gave him a scratch behind his ear, before looking at the sheet stapled to the stall. Sky, huh? Well. Let's have a better look at you. I slipped a mint from my pocket and handed it to him, while peeking into the stall to look at his conformation. Keeping the angle I was looking at him from in consideration, he looked nicely built. Obviously not perfect, since no horse was, but he could get the job done and stay sound doing it.

I crunched on the mint happily. My tail swished over my body as a few flies landed upon me and I nudged her playfully, trying to get rid of my boredom. I walked over to the window, then settled on my hay net.

He led me down the isle and back and stopped him infront of the girl who gave me the mint, head held high. I stood rather calm, and nudged my handler on the shoulder who gave me a pat on the shoulder.

How much is he? I asked, resuming the previous scratch behind the stallion's ear as I waited for the answer. If he wasn't too expensive, I'd buy him. I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money today, just get a horse or two that could either be trained, or that wasn't over a certain amount.

I took my hand away from the stud to write out the cheque, handed it to the groom(after checking the info sheet to see who it make it out for) and then took the leadrope from him.

I watched as he walked away, wondering why he was. I wanted to follow but the girl had my lead rope. I looked at her curiously, waiting for her to do something.
